Surface Area is the total area of all outer surfaces of a 3D object.

Volume is the amount of space a 3D object occupies.

  • Cube Surface Area = 6 × side²
  • Cube Volume = side³
  • Cuboid Surface Area = 2(lw + lh + wh)
  • Cuboid Volume = l × w × h

This lab demonstrates how area and volume change as we stack cubes or extend cuboids in 3D space.

Surface Area: 24 units² Volume: 8 units³
